Beginner's Guide - Navigation

Navigation

We'll be looking at how to move around in the game, both manually and automatically.

1.  Moving manually

1) Joystick

Drag the Joystick in the direction you’d like to move to. It allows the smoothest movements.

2) Tapping

Tap in the direction you’d like to move to – a golden circle will briefly appear on the tapped area, and your hero will move in that direction.

3) Changing Camera angles

Drag the screen around using one finger to move the camera angle. In battle, you can adjust your viewpoint by dragging two fingers on the screen.

2.    Moving automatically

1)   Touch the quest box on the upper right

Unless you need to relocate to another area using the world map, you’ll be located to the area where you can complete your quest – whether it be collecting flowers for a birthday party or slaying dark forces of evil.

02.   Touch the [Quests] icon on the scroll menu to the right and progress quest

If there is no quest box on the upper right, check the scroll menu to the right and look for the quest icon.

The red exclamation mark means that there’s a new quest that needs to be completed – tap on the quest icon to open the quest map.

On the [Quest map], find the quest with the same red exclamation mark on it and tap on it to move to the area where you can continue your quest.

03.   Touch the [Map] icon on the scroll menu to the right, and move to desired location

Sometimes, a quest will ask you to go somewhere specific, like Nottingham or Pendragon Port (N). When this happens, you’ll need to tap on the [map] icon from the scroll menu to the right.

When tapping on the [map] icon, either one of the following screens will appear – Britannia Isles (day/default) /Britannia Isles (night)

To switch over to each map, simply tap on the sun and moon icons on the lower right side of the screen.

Areas by each map:

(1)  Britannia Isles (day)

Old Sherwood
Carlisle Ruins
Nottingham
Froggle Bog
Thyamis River
Star Bridge Ranch
Pendragon City
Witchwood
Pendragon Port

(2)  Britannia Isles (night)

Carlisle Ruins (N)
Froggle Bog Depths
Nottingham (N)
Pendragon City (N)
Pendragon Port (N)
Star Bridge Ranch (N)
Steeped Spiritwood

* FYI: The (N) in some area names mean ‘Night’
It might become a bit confusing when you think you’re stuck with the default daytime map – just tap the crescent moon icon on the lower right to switch over!

04.   Use [Main menu]-[Find NPC] to visit an NPC

NPC provide useful and essential services.
To visit an NPC, you could easily travel to Nottingham via the map and go visit the NPC manually, but nobody ain’t got time for that.

So, click on the [Main menu] and [Find NPC] to find the NPC of your choice.

1)     Click on the [Main menu] on the lower right of the screen

2)     Click on the [Find NPC] from the main menu

3)     Click on the NPC of your choice – each NPC has a brief description on what services they provide.
